An IoT hardware partner program for meter, sensor, gateway and controller makers
The Aqueduct hardware partner track is for manufacturers of meters, sensors, gateways, controllers and actuators. Partners get their device models decoded and onboarded so readings land in Aqueduct with consistent units, mapped to the assets they measure. Aqueduct is device agnostic, so partner devices can be specified per site wherever their capability fits.

Get your devices decoded, onboarded and specified wherever their capability fits.
Your device model decoded into consistent readings
- Model decoder
Messages from your model are decoded into readings with the right units.
- Mapped to assets
Readings are mapped to the meter, zone or equipment the device measures.
- Health reported
Connection rate and battery or capacitor voltage appear for every device on every site.

Chosen wherever the capability and protocol fit
- Capability groups
Devices are grouped by what they measure, so they are considered on every fitting site.
- Open protocols
LoRaWAN, BACnet, Modbus, M-Bus, MQTT and pulse keep the door open for most devices.
- Global reach
Aqueduct is deployed in 275+ sites across 21 countries, so onboarded devices can travel far.

Your readings power twins, baselines and verification
- Digital twins
Meter and sensor data closes water balances and electrical single lines on live digital twins.
- Weather-normalized baselines
Readings feed weather-normalized baselines that turn usage deltas into money for the customer.
- Meter-level verification
Your device becomes part of the proof, at the meter, that a fix actually worked.

Hardware partnerships, before and after Aqueduct
- Devices ship with a separate app customers rarely open.
- Data stays as raw readings with no outcome attached.
- Each platform integration is negotiated from scratch.
- Battery and link issues surface as customer complaints.
- Devices are judged on specs, not on results.
The Aqueduct way- Device data appears inside the customer's Aqueduct sites.
- Readings feed twins, baselines and verified results.
- One onboarding path covers every Aqueduct site.
- Device health shows battery and link issues early.
- Devices become part of verified customer outcomes.
Who the hardware track is for
Meter makers
Water, electricity and gas meters, including ultrasonic, CT clamp and pulse output meters.
Sensor makers
Air quality, occupancy, leak and asset tracking devices.
Gateway and connectivity makers
LoRaWAN and IP gateways, bridges and cellular connectivity.
Controller and actuator makers
Field controllers, relay switches, valves and I/O devices.
How a device gets onboarded
Apply
Share the device, its data points, protocol and the markets it ships to.
Review
We review the capability, the data it reports and how it reaches the cloud.
Decode and map
A decoder for the model turns its messages into readings in consistent units, mapped to assets.
Field test
The device is tested on a site and its health reporting is checked.
Specify
The model joins the hardware we work with and can be chosen per site.
Requirements
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Open protocol | Data reachable over LoRaWAN, BACnet, Modbus, M-Bus, MQTT or pulse |
| Direct data access | Readings delivered to Aqueduct without depending on a separate vendor cloud |
| Security | Support for encrypted links and authenticated device identity |
| Documentation | Datasheets, payload formats and user guides for each model |
| Support | A technical contact for integration and field issues |

A good device deserves a platform that turns its readings into results.

Meters that close the water and energy balance
Water, electricity and gas meters feed digital twins and baselines, so their readings drive leak detection and verified savings.

Common questions
It is the track for manufacturers of meters, sensors, gateways, controllers and actuators who want their devices onboarded into Aqueduct and specified on customer sites.
Aqueduct onboards devices that report over LoRaWAN, BACnet, Modbus, M-Bus, MQTT or pulse, through its LoRaWAN and IP gateways or a field device network controller.
Milvian AI does not sell hardware as its core business. Devices are specified per site with the customer and supplied and installed through delivery partners.
It depends on the device and its documentation. Onboarding covers a review, a decoder for the model and a field test before the device is specified on sites.
Brands whose devices are onboarded can appear on the hardware we work with page. The exact make and model on any site is still chosen per site.
Aqueduct needs direct access to device data over an open protocol. Devices whose data is only available through a separate vendor cloud are generally not a fit.
